Workshops and Seminars

Rise Above Your Circumstances

Have your doctors told you that there is nothing more that they can do for you? Have you prayed for a healing miracle, but that miracle has not come? Based on Dr. Greene's book You Can Feel Better: How to Cope With And Overcome Chronic Pain And Physical Disabilities From A Holistic Christian Perspective, learn three spiritual principles to help you put your faith to work in your quest for healing.

You Can Feel Better: The Four "M's" To Pain Management

Learn about the physiology of pain and four practical, drug free prescriptions to help yourself feel better. Discover how persuing the four "M's" to pain management will help you to break the vicious cycle of pain feeding into depression, feeding into pain. Based on the research in my book You Can Feel Better.

Health Challenges And The Topography Of Spiritual Growth

Unexpected health challenges can lead even the most grounded Christians into situations for which they are spiritually unprepared. With the help of a PowerPoint program, this workshop focuses on naming and discerning twelve positive and negative beliefs, using a pictogram developed by Dr. Greene. The presentation is based on his book You Can Feel Better.

Second Mile Care-Giving

A workshop for clergy and lay visitors, as well as family care givers.

Learn how to go beyond hand holding and the bedside prayer, to a holistic ministry of encouragement for those contending with chronic pain and serious health challenges. Develop a ministry which includes conveying helpful Biblical and theological perspectives as well as practical advice. The presentation is based on the book You Can Feel Better.

Healing Sabbath & Meditation Retreats

Meditation has long been a big part of Christian life. Meditation, that is, for the purpose of drawing closer to God, reflecting on God's Word, and for seeking divine guidance. But have you ever considered the idea that meditation could also be used to improve your physical health as well as your mental and spiritual well-being? Learn how to relax, let go of stress, relieve pain, sort priorities, reflect on healing in scripture, and discern the presence of God in your life through meditation.

Dr. Greene focused his doctoral studies in the field of Meditation and Healing. He has taught meditation in a variety of settings.
